Moon Rock Ranch
A 15-acre desert retreat and experience destination.
Welcome
Fifteen acres of open Mojave desert, made for real-life experiences.
Stay overnight, visit for the day, attend an event, or book a single experience. Moon Rock Ranch sits in the high desert above Landers, on the edge of open BLM land, with room to hike, train, paint, play, eat well, and watch the sky do its thing.

A day at Moon Rock Ranch
A loose rhythm, not an itinerary.
These sessions recur most days. Join any of them or none of them — the afternoons are yours, and separately booked experiences slot in around the edges. Sunset times move with the season.
Lunch is served between the midday session and open time. Individual experiences may have their own schedules, equipment needs and booking — see the Experiences page.
Food
Fresh, local, and cooked on the ranch.
Farm-to-table meals built around what nearby farms and farmers-market growers have that week — organic where available, simple, and generous.
Breakfast
After the morning hike and meditation, before the day opens up.
Lunch
Midday, between training and the open afternoon.
Dinner
After the sunset hike, as the stars come out.
Menus change with the season and the farms. Meal details and pricing are shared when you book a stay or experience.

Stay
Rugged desert camping on the property.
Four campsites, each with its own fire pit and plenty of space between you and the next site. This is bare-bones, off-grid desert camping — potable water on site, no toilets or electrical hookups — on the same 15 acres where the experiences happen.

The property
What’s here.
15 acres of high desert
Rocky, open Mojave land above Landers, bordering miles of public BLM desert — about 19 miles from the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.
Cold pool
A cold pool for after training, hikes, and hot afternoons.
Dry sauna Coming
A dry sauna is on the way. It is not open yet — we’ll announce it here when it is.
Outdoor main stage
For performances, music events, and gatherings under the sky.
Recording studio
A functioning studio on the property for sessions.
Campsites + fire pits
Four rugged campsites, each with its own fire pit.
Know before you go
This is a real desert property, not a manicured resort.
That’s the point. A little preparation makes the difference between a good visit and a great one.
Terrain and footwear
The ground is rocky and uneven almost everywhere, including between campsites and on every trail. Hiking boots or proper trail shoes are strongly recommended. Heels are not appropriate for this terrain — please plan around that, especially for events.
What to bring
Bring a yoga mat if you have one, plus any personal equipment you like to train with. Some experiences have their own equipment requirements — each one will say so on the Experiences page as details are confirmed. Sun protection, layers for cold nights, and a headlamp are always a good idea.
Camping and facilities
Campsites are rugged and bare-bones by design: fire pits at each site and potable water on the property, but no on-site toilets or electrical hookups. The exact address is provided after booking.
Weather and timing
High-desert days can be hot and nights can be cold, sometimes in the same 24 hours. Sunset sessions move with the season; we’ll confirm times when you book.
